WORLD LEARNING YOUTH PROGRAMS ARABIC AND ENGLISH SPEAKING PROGRAM FACILITATOR POSITIONS Job overview & Hiring Process EXPERIENCE: World Learning/SIT Youth Programs bring international high-school age youth to the U.S for short-term intensive leadership and peace-building programs and exchanges. The programs have traditional summer camp elements combined with academic content on global issues, civics and peace-building, home-stays and U.S. city community programs, cross-cultural and language studies, and issue-based project design for post program follow up projects in home communities. Our U.S. programs start in 1 of 3 primary program locations: SIT in Vermont, Lake Tahoe, Nevada or the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. We have more than twenty local partner organizations in cities across the U.S. for the home-stay segments. Many programs end in Washington, DC. Some of the domestic programs include U.S. youth and some of our programs take U.S. youth overseas.
