Fraud Investigator - (Liberty, MO)

Fraud Investigator Position summary: Under general direction, this position conducts investigations of internal theft activity. Activities include substantiating fraud allegations, conducting/coordinating interviews of Employees, compiling case documentation, and coordinating prosecution efforts. Fraud Investigator will provide support for helping develop fraud prevention recommendations. Typically requires a Bachelors level degree in a related position and min 5yrs related work background. Key functions: Conduct investigations of potential employee fraud including interviewing suspect employees. Responsible for maintaining documentation supporting investigations and related results. Prepares presentation reports for prosecuting attorney and/or local law enforcement. Develops recommendations for improvements to business controls that would minimize exposure to future loss from both internal and external sources.
