Part-Time Regional Field Organizer - Inspire U.S. - (Phoenix, AZ)

Inspire U.S. is a grassroots, nonpartisan effort aimed at transforming young leaders' inspiration into action to improve communities and strengthen our democracy. We are seeking a Field Organizer in the Phoenix metro area. This position is part time through June 30 afterwhich it will be reviewed for full time status. Program Objectives: Through outreach, planning and implementation support, the Field Organizer will assist local high schools in successfully registering 85% of eligible students at their schools to vote during the 2017-18 school year. The successful field organizer will: Promote and obtain commitments from at least 25 schools in the region to participate in the Inspire U.S. voter registration and civic engagement program by June 30, 2017. Through teacher and/or administrator recommendations, identify and train students who will lead peer-to-peer voter registration and GOTV efforts at their high schools by September 1.
