Quality Engineer - (Wylie, TX)

POSITION TITLE: Quality Engineer JOB OVERVIEW Summary/Objective The quality engineer position is responsible for applying and performing quality engineering duties, skills, and techniques to ensure product meets and exceeds customer qualifications. Provide support to the overall Quality Management System in support of customer qualifications, company goals and all quality initiatives.Required functions Liaison to and voice of the Customer for all quality/reliability issues. Facilitate internal Quality meetings with Process Engineering to drive continuous improvement efforts. Facilitate training activities in response to corrective actions/process improvements/lessons learned. Perform visual inspection of printed circuit boards and other products during NPI builds Support and/or perform AS9102 FAI Oversee Source Inspection Conduct failure analysis and prepare customer correspondence when necessary Knowledgeable and adheres to ISO and AS standards. Supports internal audits to standards.
