Job DescriptionBoyd homes is seeking a motivated individual who would like to join our hard working team!An Apartment Maintenance Technician is needed for a multi-family community in Hampton, VAThe right applicant must have strong customer service skills, great communication abilities, and be detail oriented. Qualified candidates must be able to follow an on-call rotation, perform necessary maintenance and repairs in units and be able to prioritize work as it comes in. They will maintain grounds, inspect buildings/grounds/common areas and suggest repairs, perform preventative maintenance, turn vacant units per workplace standards, perform appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and have their own tools. They will also be able to lift 50+lbs and pass a background investigation (criminal and credit).POSITION OVERVIEW:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the physical upkeep of the community.
