This individual will support the Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) in Frederick, MD. NMRC is a major research center conducting medical and directed energy biomedical research, which focuses on ways to enhance the safety, health, performance and operational readiness of Navy and Marine Corps personnel and addresses their emergent medical problems in routine and combat operations. In this role you will be interfacing directly with scientists and analysts who are responsible for analyzing massive data-sets consisting of DNA sequencing. This requires specialized software programs tailored specifically to this purpose.
