Pediatrics Physician - (Aiken, SC)

Pediatrics physician job in South Carolina : Aiken Regional Medical Center and Augusta University in Augusta, GA have entered into a joint recruitment for a fulltime pediatrician. The incoming Pediatrician will be employed by the university and work in a four-person practice based at the hospital in Aiken. The group averages 20 25 office visits per physician per day with minimal hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include ambulatory care and neonatal care in a Level two newborn nursery. Office call is shared on a 1:4 rotation, while most inpatient care is provided by the affiliated Childrens Hospital of Georgia. The position also includes a faculty appointment with the university and will teach 3rd year medical students and pediatric residents rotating through the practice. The compensation program will be competitive and will include salary, benefits and other incentives. Ideal applicants will be board certified or eligible; Spanish-speaking expertise is a plus, but not required.
