Desktop Client Technician II - (Walnut Creek, CA)
Performs advanced level of installation, maintenance, upgrades, and problem resolution, relying on both established and ad hoc procedures and precedents. Ensures that all activities are properly diagnosed, communicated, resolved, and documented upon completion. Provides ITS solutions and services which ultimately contribute to patient safety and care. Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming requests for technical assistance received by voice mail, email, and in-person. Provides services at end users site. Diagnoses moderately complex desktop hardware and software problems, using standard techniques, tools, methods or standards to perform troubleshooting. Escalates to next level when unable to solve problem. Performs more complex preventive maintenance programs based on department schedule and procedures.
