Desktop Client Technician I - (Walnut Creek, CA)
Works within established procedures for basic desktop hardware and software, including installation, maintenance, upgrades, and problem resolution. Ensures that all activities are planned, communicated and tracked until completion. Provides ITS solutions and services which ultimately contribute to patient safety and care. Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming requests for technical assistance received by voice mail, email, and in-person. Provides services at end users site. Diagnoses basic desktop hardware and software problems, using standard techniques, tools, methods or standards to perform troubleshooting. Escalates to next level when unable to solve problem. Performs preventive maintenance programs based on department schedule and procedures.
