Associate is responsible for building loads for deliveries. In addition, the Yard Manager must: Build loads for deliveryLoad and unload lumber and building suppliesOperates forkliftKeeps management aware of any delays or discrepanciesKeeps lumber yard clean, well organized and safe Expertise to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present info to others one-on-one.Expertise to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple 1 or two-step instructions High-school degree or general education degree (GED); or related background and/or training.Previous lumber yard or warehouse supervision experience desired. Must have forklift operating experience.
