Quality Assurance Technician - (Augusta, GA)

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Performs various tasks involved with the inspection and testing of class I and class II medical devices. The employee will follow standard procedures and make decisions based on defined criteria for most of the work to be performed. The employee will need to be able to make decisions with regard to product acceptance and will need to think in a logical manner to justify their decisions. Persons in this position must utilize diplomacy and good interaction skills with Production personnel in the performance of this function. KEY FUNCTIONS: 1. Conduct inspections or testing as appropriate in accordance with Quality System specifications and procedures. 2. Record inspection data as required for quality system procedures. 3. Complete reject/rework notices as needed and notify the appropriate personnel. 4.
