Payroll Specailist - (Medford, OR)

Local community medical organizations is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist. This is a fulltime position! Performs Essential Position assignments: Verify that all employees complete their time cards electronically in a timely manner in order to process payroll. Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions. Review all payroll data, including computations in order to detect and reconcile payroll or benefit discrepancies in and prepare for HR Coordinators final review. Prepare payroll draws for employees for HR Coordinator approval. Process retroactive increases or adjustments to pay related to previous errors that is received from HR Coordinator. Record employee info such as exemptions, transfers and resignations in order to maintain and update payroll records. Keep informed about changes in tax and deductions law that apply to the payroll process. Provide info to employees and managers on payroll matters and benefit plans.
