Director - Health Information Management - (Gansevoort, NY)

Health Details Management (HIM) Director/Privacy Officer needed for a health system in upstate New York area. Assignments include Transcription, ROI, Compliance, Medical Record processing. Direct oversight of all operational functions including ongoing quality, efficiency, process, and budgeting. Must be strong in strategic planning for process improvements and building strong relationships with key leaders and physicians. Qualifications: -(RHIA) Registered Record Administrator -Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) -Minimum 5yrs managerial background in HIM in an acute care setting -Electronic Health Record implementation background (Cerner highly preferred)
