Area Youth Development Director - (North Royalton, OH)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Area Youth Development Director is responsible for managing designated Preschool and Licensed childcare programs at multiple sites. The Director will hire and maintain qualified staff, develop new programs, and ensure that the childcare programs meet state licensing standards. The Area Youth Development Director will be accountable for maintaining school system relationships and ensure/monitor licensed status.. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor Degree Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child and Family Development. • Min two years hands-on background working with children. • Min 1yr's background in staff supervision. • Knowledge of state licensing regulations and Step Up to Quality. • Background in staff recruitment/development, budget development, technical skills and customer service.
