Job title: Firefighter-Paramedic Min Salary: $32,569 +$2.50/hour Paramedic Incentive Posting Number: 365 Closing Date: Open Until Filled Must maintain current Florida certification of Paramedic as issued by the State of Florida Department of Health, and be approved by the Medical Director of Lake EMS to practice as a Paramedic under his/her license, and maintain that approval, to be paid an additional $2.50 per hour. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This job is located in the Field Operations Bureau of the Tavares Fire Department and is under the general supervision of the Company Commander. Firefighters will perform individually and/or as a member of a firefighting ream and will participate in the fire suppression activities, including: firefighting, rescue, 1st aid, ventilation, forcible entry, salvage, overhaul and inspection practices.
