HR Generalist 1 - INDOT/Fort Wayne - (Fort Wayne, IN)

The Indiana State Personnel Department is currently seeking a HR Generalist 1to support the Fort Wayne District of the Indiana Department of Transportation. This employee manages HR functions for INDOT Fort Wayne as part of statewide HR management services and functions in a highly responsible administrative/consultative position. The work consists of planning, developing, coordinating and evaluating human resources programs for assigned state agency. The HR Generalist provides consultation and/or facilitation in the development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of human resources functions (e.g. FMLA, STD/LTD/WC, Training, New Employee Orientation, policy review and development) for assigned state agency. Provides guidance and consultation to agency executives, divisions and local office staff pertaining to human resources issues (e.g. employee relations, policy and procedures).
