CFC Foster Care Program Director - (Asheville, NC)

Position Concept: The CFC Foster Care Program Director is responsible for providing coordination of the Foster Care Program. The Director will manage recruitment of staff, volunteers, foster parents and consumers; training and consultation of staff, foster parents and Case Managers; processing of service authorization requests; development of person-centered plans, and ensuring program adheres to licensing and accreditation standards. Must have proven expertise in program management and developing long range plans for program implementation. Required functions: * In conjunction with the Executive Director, Clinical Director, and Administrative Staff, ensure the implementation of mechanisms to identify and reduce exposure to risks, potential loss and liability to the organization. * Recruit, hire and supervise case management staff to ensure appropriate staffing qualifications per funding and licensing qualifications, and evaluate performance.
