Type: Contract Location: Redmond Roles and Responsibilities: Provides copy editing support to technical editors, programmer editors and writers. Ensures compliance with corporate and group editorial style standards. Maintains correctness, consistency and accuracy in documentation. Ensures compliance with corporate legal guidelines for adding trademarks to product names. Performs production proofing and coordination tasks, as needed. Tests procedures in documentation as needed. Tests complied and build documentation in on-line and web environments. Able to provide copy editing support for teams that may have no other editors. Edits copy for editors, writers, developers, or program managers. Can perform a production edit on print, on-line, and web deliverables.
