The Senior Writer and Editor guides the association's overall communications program and initiatives. This position sets the messaging to consistently articulate the organization's mission and brand. They also ensure the organization is viewed as the primary source, disseminator, and conduit of details within its diverse network and constituent base. This position calls for an individual with exceptional writing and editing skills. Executing work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment is must. This position works closely with a senior peer group within the organization on a variety of strategic initiatives and manages the association's communication activities. Additionally, this person will oversee and provide support to other departments and staff for communications and marketing messaging. Job details: Writes and creates relevant industry materials geared towards members, industry media, policymakers, and sponsors. Serves as managing editor for print publications.
