Data Support Specialist - (Buffalo, NY)

Data Support Specialist Erie one BOCES has an immediate opening for a Data Support Specialist to assist school districts with the data collection and reporting process for mandated state reporting. The person in this position will be responsible for the development of training materials and process documentation, maintenance of databases, regular data transmissions, management of critical data flows and timelines, as well as, complying with state regulations. The successful applicant will be analytical with great communication expertise and be comfortable training in a one-on-one or small group situation. Bachelors degree and two years background in system software programming or maintenance, background with student management systems, databases or data analysis is required. Knowledge of NY state education department regulations is a plus. Travel to assigned school district locations in Western New York is required.
