PORT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN The Port of Whitman County is accept- ing applications for the position of Port Maintenance Technician. This position will report to the Properties and Development Manager. The principal function of the Maintenance Technician is to perform manual and semi-skilled work associated with construction, repair and maintenance of the Port's buildings and facilities. The principal duties of the Maintenance Technician are performed in an outdoor environment which may involve adverse weather conditions and related hazards. Candidate must be able to hold pesticide and weed control certifications. The successful candidate will be able to implement and maintain maintenance schedules. Issue solving skills and a self motivator a must. Qualified candidate must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and driving history with no misdemeanor or felony driving offenses and no more than 1 infraction in the last 3 years. Compensation range $40,000-$45,000. Position closes 1/31/18.
