Senior Commodity Buyer - (Mesa, AZ)

This position supports ZF, the global purchasing organization and the Mesa inflator operation including cost reduction, new product introduction, global benchmarking and quality improvement initiatives. Specific job assignments include, but are not limited to. Responsible for developing and implementing beneficial types of sourcing agreements in order to ensure that the objectives of ZF OSS purchasing are met in direct collaboration with the Global Commodity Management group. As a member of the global team of dedicated commodity experts designed to leverage ZF's buy to reduce material costs, improve PPM and delivery performance to ZF operations worldwide. Provide program management interface between customer applications/project manager cross functional teams and commodity managers on all future new model inflator launches. Ensure execution of necessary purchasing activity to support the customer.
