Healthcare: Clinical Nurse Educator Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Falls - (Falls Church, VA)

The Ewing Forensic Assessment and Consultation Teams (FACT) Program is looking for a Full-time experienced Clinical Nurse Educator Based at Inova's Fairfax Hospital the SANE Clinical Nurse Educator oversees continuing-ed specific to Forensic Nursing, supports community training requests and ensures staff is up to date on current research and best practices in the field of forensic science.This position also oversees orientation of new forensic nurses, tracks CEUs, certification qualifications.This position will create and execute a SANE A and SANE P course in accordance with qualifications set forth by the IAFN.The CNE will also provide clinical oversight along with leadership and support to the nursing staff. The Ewing Forensic Assessment and Consultation Teams (FACT) Program is responsible for responding to requests for forensic medical examinations of the alleged sexually assaulted/ physically abused patient and/or suspect evidence collection.
