Production Accounting Analyst - (Raeford, NC)

Position overview: This associate will manage routine production accounting reporting which require familiarity with SAP, Scout, operations processes, and details flows in addition to Butterball Accounting policies and procedures. The associate will analyze and verify internal consistency, totality, and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents and make adjustments as needed. This associate will also perform detailed analysis of variances to standards and or budgets and report the findings to the Plant Controller and to Operations Management. Key functions, Duties & Responsibilities: • Manage the data collection and preparation of Production Accounting Reports for Operations Management – daily, weekly, monthly, annually • Review reporting for accuracy and rationality and investigate errors prior to distributing the details • Ensure proper documentation is prepared and stored in compliance with Packers and Stockyards rules in addition to internal and external audit qualifications.
