Human Resources Specialist - (Newport News, VA)

HR Specialists job is to work as a supportive and cooperative Human Resources team player providing the best employee service, with specific knowledge in the HRIS administration management, payroll administration, and additional HR administration activities. The main responsibility of the HR Specialist is payroll preparations, providing info to employees regarding regulations and policies, providing general support, addressing a broad variety of issues, maintaining files, databases, and records of actions of personnel and evaluations. Essential Duties and Assignments include the following: Assisting in a variety of programs and policies regarding employees such as Employment verifications and HRIS. Provide administration of performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Assist with the mid-year and year end performance reviews. Assist with tracking and reviewing received performance reviews and development plans.
