Rental Inspector/ Code Enforcement Officer The City of Ishpeming is seeking a self-motivated and conscientious individual to serve as Rental Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer. This position is responsible for the inspection of residential rental dwelling units in the City of Ishpeming, including enforcement of its ordinance #7-400 and #7-500, and the enforcement of other code ordinances within the City. The position is part time with a max of 29 hours per week. Preferred background with building codes, building/construction, and/or background with enforcement of civil and misdemeanor ordinances. The position works under the direction of the Chief of Police.
