College Coach - (Richmond, CA)

Job details The College and Alumni Program's (CAP) mission is to ensure that students (Wave-Makers) gain acceptance to and graduate from four-year colleges and universities. Making Waves believes that ultimately, a quality education will enable Wave-Makers to become productive and contributing members of society. The College Coach works with students in college (Wave-Makers) to help them navigate the challenging high-school-to-college transition, and once Wave-Makers arrive on their college campuses, improve their effectiveness in and out of the classroom to earn their degree. The College Coach manages administrative matters related to College and Alumni Program services, communicates with Wave-Makers and college contacts, and serves as an advocate for Wave-Makers. Additionally, College Coaches are responsible for providing support to the CAP leadership team to ensure effective outcomes based on Program Goals, managing both long range planning and short-term projects.
