Assignments include sports reporting and managing the coverage of the sporting events of the 5 school districts in Highland County. Benefits include working with a great team of local employees across all departments. A degree, background or training in journalism is preferred but not required. The ideal applicant will have a positive attitude, team-oriented perspective, creative personality, good editing and written correspondence skills, knowledge and skill across all digital and social media platforms, and the expertise to oversee and produce multiple stories per day on deadline.
