Area Manager - (Davenport, IA)
Description Under the general supervision of the District Manager this position exists to assist in managing the scheduling, staffing and execution of inventory operations for a single location to achieve profitability and service goals in support of the overall company objectives. The incumbent supervises the Inventory Specialists, Crew Managers, Team Leaders, Production Supervisors and Inventory Managers. Qualifications Normally requires a bachelors degree in business administration or related curriculum. Knowledge of financial statements, applicable labor and fair employment laws as well as knowledge of ms word processing and spread sheet software (i.e., Microsoft excel) is essential. Must be highly knowledgeable about the technical nature of the service delivery system and have a thorough understanding of the inventory process in order to ensure balance and effectiveness. Normally requires 2-three years previous related skills, of which 1-2 yrs should have been spent in a lead or supervisory capacity.
