Cost Accounting Manager - GA - 27014256 Our client is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager for a large international manufacturer near Augusta, GA. The plant has 400 employees and has metal, rubber, assembly and test processes. Most products are built for stock and sold internationally. Research, Development and Sales for the Division are handled at this location in addition to manufacturing. The product lines are utilized by the electric utility industry and other industries which utilize power circuit products where quality in uncompromising. Job overview: The Cost Accounting Manager position is responsible for the overall accounting and costing functions, including audit and compliance with both internal policies and external regulations. Responsibilities require in-depth knowledge cost accounting, manufacturing processes, generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP), and SAP best practices.
