Scientist 2 - (Rochester, NY)

Requirements: BS degree in Analytical Chemistry or other related Science field is required, Masters degree a plus. A min of 1-3 yrs background in a laboratory is required, 1yr of validation background is preferred. Background in analytical instrument / method validation is preferred. Background in particle size analysis, OTIS (or other change control software), Trackwise, and MiniTab is a plus. Use Minitab to perform statistical analyses. Demonstrate understanding and effective use of statistical quality control, including use of control charts: plotting data and reacting to out-of-control situations. Primarily works A (day) shift, but flexible scheduling may be required to touch base with all 3 shifts during validation activities. Creates non-conformances and deviation reports as required.
