Sr. AVID Video Editor - (San Antonio, TX)

SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced Senior AVID video editor to assemble recorded footage, along with audio and graphic elements, into finished masters suitable for broadcast on network tv to a worldwide audience. As an AVID broadcast editor, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-level of quality across a large number of masters each week, while ensuring broadcast standards are met. RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble broadcast masters from existing elements, according to the format from the senior broadcast producer. Create lower 3rd text graphics for scriptures, scripture references, and other elements as needed. QC the other broadcast editors’ work at various stages of post-production. Create closed caption files. Prepare for export, export, spot check and move finished broadcast masters to the next stage in our distribution pipeline.
