The Jurgensen Companies are currently seeking Laborers to work within various industries including: civil / heavy construction, roadway / highway construction, and pipe construction. Ideal individuals must have working background We are a growing diverse organization which is the preferred supplier of asphalt pavement, aggregate products and construction services to public agencies and private companies throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Laborer Principal Duties & Responsibilities could include but not limited to: Heavy Highway / Roadway Construction: Perform variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy highway, roadway, excavation, and infrastructure projects. Lay asphalt and mix, pour and smooth out to even out potholes or ditches. Assists in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix. Assist in installing various pipes and drains on construction projects. Installing traffic control devices. Minor service / maintenance on equipment.
