DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TOWN OF WATERFORD The Town of Waterford seeks a proven leader in municipal finance to manage the daily financial operations of the Town. The Director of Finance is the Chief Financial Officer of the Town. The successful applicant will demonstrate the expertise and willingness to provide financial management recommendations to the policy-making bodies of the Town, in addition to directing the operations of a centralized department servicing all areas of General Government. We seek a Master's Degree in Business or Public Administration with a concentration in Finance or closely related position and ten or more years of progressively responsible background in public financial management including 5 years background in the management of a major division in a comparable size department or as a Finance Director in a smaller community; a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred; a combination of education and background that demonstrates the expertise to perform the responsibilities of this
