Job DescriptionScientific Protein Laboratories is a biopharmaceutical leader in the development and cGMP compliant manufacturing of pancreatic enzymes and heparin. We have a production opening for a Process Operator – Heparin Intermediate third shift – from 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.Duties:Perform Process Operator duties in a manufacturing environment; load and unload tanker trucks; learn, understand, and apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety practices ; follow written Manufacturing Instructions (MI's); maintain cleaning logs and follow written procedures; requires some lifting of up to 50lbs; must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's); may occasionally drive a forklift.Qualifications: Requires a high-school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of previous manufacturing background.
