Registration Specialist - Diley Ridge - Part Time Job - (Canal Winchester, OH)

Friday nights 6pm - 6:30am High-school diploma or GED required. Background: Prefer min of 3yrs background in a physician's office, clinic, hospital business office or related area dealing with the public in collection of data and funds. Able to perform data entry. Demonstrates understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and other 3rd party details qualifications and adheres to all 3rd party regulations. Demonstrates a current expertise of 3rd-party payer benefits and qualifications and regulations impacting registration procedures. Demonstrates a current expertise of CPT and ICD-9 coding and payer reimbursement methodologies. Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written correspondence skills. Demonstrates the expertise to diffuse & handle difficult situations. Demonstrates good judgment in dealing with patients, physicians & clinical staff. Demonstrates the expertise to effectively and assertively communicate and negotiate financial obligations, and resolve patient inquiries.
