Director of Operations - (Macon, GA)

Supervises the daily activities of personnel engaged in shipping, receiving, picking, packing and order generation Support Human Resources in maintaining occupational safety and health administration norms for the safety of warehouse employees Lead and provide strategic direction and oversight for all logistics and distribution functions; responsible for all inbound and outbound operations and all applicable processes Identify, develop and implement short and longterm strategies to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency for each of the operations departments. Develop mitigation plans. Regular review of current procedures and processes to assure service level commitments are achieved. Work together with other teams to promote collaboration. Manage staffing needs of the distribution center operations based on current or projected business needs and volume plans. Create and implement budget and operating metrics.
