Lead Engineering Designer: Monitor proj. from initial briefing to comm. proposal. Conceptualize & mng. design proj. in electronics, furniture & transportation. Establish w/teammates sequence of ope. activities re: perform of proj. Contrib. to drafting comm. proposals for new proj. Prep. sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, illustrations, artwork, & blueprints, using drafting instruments, & computer-aided design equip. Direct the fabrication of models & the drafting of working drawings & specification sheets from sketches. Eval. feasibility of design ideas based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, & market characteristics.
