Resident Engineer, Civil - (Chicago, IL)

Supervise/monitor the contractors' work to ensure that the work is carried out in compliance with the design intent, specification and quality of works required under the terms of the contract Attend site progress meetings/technical meetings/consultants' meetings Monitor the progress of work on site, verify the Contractors' progress report and present the report to the PM in such format that the progress payment claim by the Contractor can be easily evaluated Prepare and up-date the list of outstanding/non-compliance works and submits to the PM for discussion at site meeting/technical meeting Ensure construction works are adequately completed to meet authority inspection dates Job responsibilities five years' (Resident Engineer) relevant background in site supervision work Degree or relevant professional requirements in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent Registered Resident Engineer with IES / ACES
