Clinical Research Psychologist with Security Clearance - (Portsmouth, VA)

Description: Leidosâ??s Federal Health Operation is seeking a Clinical Research Psychologist to support our operations at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA (NMCP). NMCP supports the national interests of the United States by providing professional education and development, providing quality patient care, being responsive and ready for deployment, and conducting biomedical research in general surgery, orthopedics, and mental health. The Clinical Research Psychologist will train, supervise and deliver Traumatic Management Therapy and coordinate study procedures a randomized controlled trial comparing the effects of group based cognitive processing therapy to trauma management therapy in reducing negative symptoms and promoting emotional management in military service members with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
