Biomedical Research Assistant with Security Clearance - (Groton, CT)

Description: Leidosâ??s Federal Health Operation is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician/Biomedical Research Assistant to support the Submarine Medicine and Survival Systems Department at the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory (NSMRL). NSMRL conducts research and investigates the effects of medical, psychological, and performance issues associated with the health and performance of naval personnel in operational and non-operational settings. The ideal candidate will provide laboratory technical support through performance of the following tasks: Assignments include: â?¢ Provide sampling, measurement, and recording support for biological and chemical analyses involving multiple procedures and a variety of technical approaches to include pulmonary function and exercise testing, mass spectrometry, and biochemical techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ELISA. â?¢ Collect, organize, and perform routine data analysis, and verify/correct data entry.
