Description: Leidos has a future job opportunity for a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support the Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (ACWA) program. This position will be located in Lexington, KY. The expected award date is October 2016. POSITION DETAILS: The successful applicant will support the BGCAPP Field Office (FO) Project Manager developing, implementing and maintaining technical QA assurance and control systems activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: â?¢ The main responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Specialist are to provide oversight, develop, implement, and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities. â?¢ Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of FO procedures and activities which can include standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc.
