Intern Supervise and monitor floor operations in the manufacturing or distribution in order to produce quality product in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Assign and manage labor resources; make quality decisions; shadow and train with current supervisor and resolve all manner of operating problems. Undertakes process improvement projects under the direction of the Just In Time Line Manager or Distribution Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *Evaluate the production area, the schedule and open work, and direct the workforce to the appropriate work places to safely achieve efficient production and quality. Since the JITL has more flexibility and varied function, the coordinator is constantly reviewing and adapting the floor operation as needed to meet evolving priorities. *Promote a Lean Manufacturing environment in all activities. Abide by / embrace and foster the principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and Quality.
