Terminal Maintenance/Operator - (Tinley Park, IL)

The role of the Terminal Maintenance/operator is to provide high-quality products and customer service while working safely as a team player. Terminal Maintenance, Bulk truck loading and hopper barge unloading are the primary job functions of this position. However, these are not the only tasks performed by the this position. This position overview is to specify skills needed to perform these position assignments professionally. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Terminal Operator Follows all safety procedures, checks for safety hazards, and takes corrective action to eliminate safety hazards. Focuses and maintains the organization, cleanliness, and standardization of the Terminal. Adheres to Company environmental policies. Operates and monitors all Terminal equipment, loads outgoing trucks, unloads inbound barges and rail cars. Operates forklift, rail car mover, and other light industrial equipment. Verifies accuracy of paperwork for incoming/outgoing shipments.
