Maintenance Mechanic Machine - Maintenance - (Bourbonnais, IL)

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC JOB DETAILS DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairs on all plant machinery and equipment, both electrical and mechanical, and the plant building and offices. Additionally, they will be required to assist in the construction of new equipment and buildings as required for plant operations. Additional Duties:` A. Maintain repair logs on all equipment repairs: date, cause of breakdown, description of repair, parts required and time required for repair. B. Requisition of necessary spare parts and replacement parts for plant and equipment, and maintaining reasonable inventory of spare parts. C. Requisition of general purpose hardware items such as nuts, bolts, washers, pins, etc. D. Maintaining work area of any area in which repairs or work is performed in a clean, orderly and safe condition. E. Advise of any manufacturing procedure that may be causing excessive wear or damage to equipment.
