Sr. Accountant - (Portland, ME)

AVANGRID Networks seeks Senior Accountants for our corporate offices in Portland, ME. (Relocation benefits is available). AVANGRID Networks is a diversified energy and utility company with more than $30 billion in assets and operations in 25 states and employs 7,000 people. The company operates regulated utilities and electricity generation through 2 primary lines of business including 8 electric and natural gas utilities, serving 3.1 million customers in New York and New England. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation and distribution of monthly internal financial statements and monthly fluctuation analysis of the consolidated balance sheet and income statement, in both GAAP and IFRS presentation. The Senior Accountant performs monthly consolidations of all US holdings and review of intercompany activities, as well as assists with SEC filings. Position qualifications: * Min of an Associate Degree with min of 5 yrs' background or any equivalent combination of education and background.
