Security Officer (Seasonal) - (Monterey, CA)
The Seasonal Security Officer works as a back-up to security staffing and assists with maintaining public safety and keeping a secure environment for MBA staff, volunteers, guests and animals on a seasonal or limited service basis. Core Responsibilities Provide an outstanding customer experience to internal and external customers Conduct personal bag inspections for guests entering the Aquarium as scheduled or directed Greet guests as they arrive and provide wristbands for children or dependents Enforce company policies, report potential building fire and safety code violations to the OSHA safety department as appropriate for follow-up and reinforcement of training and compliance standards Assist other aquarium departments with operational and special needs as directed by Security Supervisors Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the security function and reporting duties Conduct opening and closing of aquarium employee and public areas for normal business hours and special events
