Corporate Accounting Manager - (Ringgold, GA)

Position details: Responsible for all plant accounting functions for plant RP. This includes preparation and distribution of weekly and monthly plant financial reports and all duties that support these reports. Responsibilities: Responsible for financial reporting for the plant including expense budgeting, POVA, and related reports. Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and procedures by coordinating work thru the Corporate Manufacturing Accounting Group (CMA). Complies with month-end closing details qualifications and deadlines as defined by CMA. Responsible for preparing month-end journal entries for resilient plants. Responsible for administering Sarbanes–Oxley and Records Management systems and ensuring compliance; serves as Records Coordinator for resilient plants. Responsible for analyzing POVA for variance discrepancies and initiating investigations. Administers the accounts payable system for resilient plants. Responsible for receiving in lumber receipts via PeopleSoft.
