June 2017 Operations Management Trainee - Industrial Engineering / Operations - (New Roads, LA)

Operations Management Trainees (OMT) with Shaw are college graduates that will utilize their engineering skills to complete high-priority project work to strengthen our competitive edge in the market. These projects will include working with a variety of business groups, being immersed in process optimization, and striving to achieve value-maximizing goals. During their time as an OMT, associates will build their knowledge base regarding manufacturing techniques, process knowledge, product development, customer service, human resource management, inventory control, product transportation, and shipping/receiving procedures. In addition, trainees will complete personal and professional development training courses such as Time Management and Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
