Assembly Technician - (Mebane, NC)

Job description: Assemble different components or parts of semi-finished or finished goods, to deliver a product, which is ready to be sold in the stores or other industries. Key functions: Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies Verifies specifications by measuring completed component Keep area clean and organized Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task Work with teammates to maximize productivity and efficiency Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
